Very happy to hear you enjoyed it! Maybe I’ll write more wine-fuelled things.

I always look forward to your articles but this one will be very close to my heart. You wrote it so well, write shit and write often, and it helps so much. Penning down the first thing that comes to your brain and then looking back on it, it's beautiful.

That’s very kind, Shifa. I should’ve maybe looked a little closer and tidy up some typos! :)

“Bluuuuugh” on a page is exactly how I describe my brainstorms. As a professional writer in my day job (technical writer, don’t get excited), I “berrrrgh” a lot to kick off the next bit of doco.

I always tell myself I’m going to do the same for myself at home but I never do … it’s like I can’t write unless it’s a response to someone else. Sigh.

How could I not get excited by "technical writer" – I'm a science writer! Blleeeuuuurrrggghhhhhhh is always the best place to start. Makes a change from starting with a technical paper!

I’m currently an IT writer in a science organisation … I’m just one step away from being a cool science writer :)
